512′ square shed converted to very cozy mountain bunkhouse style cottage with an open floorplan except for the bathroom. There’s a large screened porch (32′ x 8′), and a smaller deck with charcoal grill and fire pit. Still a work in progress. Secluded in the woods but very close to several state parks with fishing, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, canoeing & kayaking, and hiking areas. Very woodsy and peaceful.Be sure to bring your groceries with you. There is a Dollar General about 3 miles away with some food items, and a very nice Ingle’s about 12 miles north on Hwy. 11.If you bring a pet it is required that you text me a picture of your baby(ies) inside the cottage. There is a mandatory $20 pet fee, and an additional $20 will be charged to your account if any “accidents” are left inside, or on the porch and deck. Yes, people have done that.There is no mandatory cleaning fee, but guests are encouraged to leave a tip for the cleaning staff, especially if you stay multiple nights, or are extra messy. Note: The ceilings in the living areas are low and under the lofts in the shed. If you’re tall, it may feel a little cramped.Thanks for checking us out!
