Welcome to our dream home on Lake Keowee! We built this home in 2017 and are constantly upgrading and enhancing it. No expenses spared, this home is gorgeous! The home is set in a small secluded and private gated community on the southern part of Lake Keowee. The property offers 180° views of the lake from every room in the house. The cove behind the house is practically a nature preserve. To the left of the home is a beautiful sandy cove bordered by two uninhabited islands that stretch out for ½ mile connected by two sandbars. If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the beavers and otters who live on the islands. The right side of the large cove is protected state park property. Directly behind the home and extending for 300+ feet is your private water front access.The home is unique in that it may be the only home on Keowee that offers the use of two full size docks, so there’s plenty of space to spread out and dock your toys. Immediately behind our home is an oversized boat dock. Then to the south is our second boat dock with an open boat slip.The main indoor living area is 5,600+ sq. ft, and the home has four porches facing the lake which provide an additional 2000 sq. ft of enclosed porch and patio living.All six bedrooms have unobstructed waterfront views. Four bedrooms have king-size beds. 1 bedroom has two queens and the bunk room consists of 2 bunks (XL long twins/ over 2 queens). The main level kitchen is to die for! It’s beautiful and provides plenty of cabinet space and an oversized island for cooking and entertaining. Appliances are all professional grade Thermador.The home consists of two oversized family rooms. The main level Lodge room, has 23 ft ceilings accented with a beautiful floor to ceiling white limestone, gas fireplace. The lower level family room is set up as our entertainment area and has a pool table, a 85 inch TV, a gaming table and a bar/kitchen area.There are two porches on the main level and two on the lower level. And while that may seem a bit excessive, you’ll discover that each of these rooms has their own unique role. We tend to use the large upper porch for our morning coffee and breakfast as well as for evening cocktail hour. The large lower porch is our NCAA game-day room complete with a TV above the fireplace. Ideal for cooler fall days and catching a game. The south porch on the upper level is our outdoor dinning and grilling area with a large 10 person dining room table. And the lower patio is ideal for summer time lunch breaks with the kids. Each of the two large porches have imported Italian tile and large 50-inch custom wood burning fireplaces.The back of the house is just 50 feet from the water and offers an easy grade down to the flat back yard which has 3000 sqft of landscaped recreation areas. To compliment your busy day on the lake, you want to relaxe in the sauna and then enjoy a campfire, a glass of wine with smores at the large fire-pit area 20 feet from the water!New feature in 2023: We upgraded the hardwood floor colors. The complete photo library is not updated yet, but I did add 3 new photos that highlight the kitchen and living room area. We love the new lighter, brighter color! To help with your personal training we did add a set of dumbells totaling ~160lbs (ranging from 3-33 lbs) and a bench. For the convenience of EV owners we added a 240v- 50 amp EV charging outlet that will charge your car in <7 hours!If you want to rent a boat, Keeter at ClearSky pontoon will provide delivery of one of their 22' Bentley pontoons boats directly to our boat dock if you rent from them.While the neighborhood provides a private and quiet setting, the home is convenient to all the great restaurants and activities in Seneca, West Union, and Walhalla. And just 25 minutes down the road you can be at a Clemson Tigers football game or one of the local wonderful restaurants!BTW – It's an environmentally friendly green house! Solar power provides nearly 100% of the needed electricity! And we just added the new EV charger
