A short drive off Highway 105, this property is a central location to all the High County has to offer. Nestled at the foot of the Grandfather Mountain, you are minutes away from the profile, but also close to larger areas like Boone and Banner Elk.Basic amenities include Direct TV and Internet, however you may not need them in the summer as you may want to sit outside on the back deck or gazebo swing and enjoy the soothing waters of the Watauga River. Flat land is at a premium in the mountains, and this property has an acre of flat land and the yard is a great place to bring the kids to play or fish along the river. A fire pit at the edge of the yard is also available for your use, with a small creek going by that feeds into the Watauga River.The home has been recently renovated and has been expanded to include generous decking and a sunroom. The kitchen is adjacent to the open concept family living and dining room areas. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has fantastic views of the river and has its own private bathroom.You will enjoy this river retreat. This home is perfect for families, couples or a group of friends getting away for the weekend. There is lots to do from hiking and shopping in the summer to skiing in the winter. This location is a short 5 minute driver from Sugar Mountain Ski resort.
