We host guests from Houston, New Orleans, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, the Carolina’s and Georgia. For guests arriving by plane, Pensacola International Airport PNS is only a 45-minute drive. Destin Fort Walton Beach airfield VSP, is approximately 40 minutes by car. Rental cars are available at both airports.If you are planning to visit members of the military at Eglin Air Force Baseor Hurlburt Air Force Base we welcome you to stay at our condo, it is a short commute to these installations.There are a host of restaurants and activities in the area, however Navarre Beach remains a laid-back little island. Navarre Beach is known for shelling, fishing, watching the Blue Angels fly by, and fresh seafood. For those that like fresh seafood, Joe Pattis Pensacola, is an iconic destination with the largest fresh seafood display I have ever seen! Stop on your way back from the Naval Aviation Museum or sight-seeing in Pensacola to grab fresh seafood for dinner.In Navarre you will find Andy D’s Seafood restaurant a short walk from the condo and if you feel like playing volleyball, catching the sunset, listening to live music or grabbing a slice of key lime pie, Juana’s Pagoda’s is the place to be! Check out their events page for a listing of live music. Dewey Destin’s is a favorite offering locally caught fresh fish and shrimp; our favorites must be their smoked fish dip and their hushpuppies! Peg Leg Pete’s is a well-known Pensacola Beach restaurant. Get there early to enjoy the tropical scenery, live music and some of the best food around!Closer to the condo you will find Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center that cares for injured or sick sea turtles. The turtles are seen up close; it’s a great educational facility for all ages. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge is also doing magnificent work to help small breed wild animals rehabilitate after injury.Another fabulous addition to the area is the new splash park for kids! It makes me wish I was 5 again! It’s located just over the causeway on the left. The Navarre Fishing Pier is a short half mile walk from the condo and they say it’s the longest pier on the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a great place to watch sunset, sunrise, people watch and look into the water to see what sea life you’ll see! It’s common to see Fred the Herron, sea turtles, dolphin, jelly fish and sting rays.**NOTE** a $100 cancelation fee applies to all bookings that cancel.
