Its character and architectural detail have been remarkably preserved.The hallmarks of Spanish Revival style are evident in the beautiful living room with a tall cathedral ceiling with exposed and stenciled wooden trusses, original iron chandeliers, and a stone fireplace. This is the heart of the home and you’ll find a TV and plenty of seating areas.Just outside is a veranda with an open beam ceiling, a dining table, and lounge seating that looks out over the gardens and the pool.The dining room has seating for 8 and opens to the front courtyard. The large updated kitchen is designed for preparing meals for large groups and includes two ovens, a gas range, and a peninsula with bar counter seating. The kitchen opens to a plaza with a fountain, comfortable seating areas, a dining table, and a grill.The formal entrance to the primary bedroom starts in an ante-room which includes seating facing a fireplace, a wet bar, and a desk looking out over the South Lawn. In the bedroom, you’ll find a king bed, a comfortable seating area, a desk, and a TV. The ensuite has a vanity with two sinks, a jetted tub, a walk-in shower, and two water closets. The room opens to a grand terrace of herringbone-patterned brick overlooking the South Lawn that features private arbors with benches and a lighted pickleball court!An interior arcade gallery, which overlooks the front courtyard, leads to 2 guest bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms has an ensuite; one with a tub/shower combo and the other with a step-in shower. Both bedrooms are comfortable and bright, looking out to the gardens.The Chauffeur Suite, just off the kitchen, has a king bed, desk, sitting area, and ensuite with tub/shower combo and access to the front courtyard and the Plaza. On the Plaza is The Casino Casita. This incredible family space with an open beam vaulted ceiling features a huge fireplace, a game table, and plenty of comfortable seating. The adjoining bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite with a step-in shower.Up a stone staircase in the courtyard, there is a private guest suite with beautiful views of the mountains. This large comfortable space has a queen bed and windows on three sides providing tons of natural light. The ensuite has a step-in shower.RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:*Security cameras cover entrances to house, none inside or in back.*Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.*Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 12 (regardless of age) and no parties.*Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund.*This house requires both a $1500 refundable damage deposit and the purchase of additional damage insurance for $99. These fees are not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.*On rentals of 28-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A $4500 utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you.*The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in.*This house is dog-friendly (2 max) with prior approval and payment of an additional pet fee.CITY ID#:001996
