This mountain side home in Massanutten Resort has almost 3,000 square feet of living space, plenty for up to 18 guests to spread out, relax & enjoy. The main living room is bathed in natural light with cathedral ceilings and a stone gas fireplace. The lower level family room has a gas fireplace, Xbox, foosball table, darts, TV & more. The garage is set up as a recreation room with a ping pong table. Savor the two decks with amazing views that look out over the treetops on the side of the mountain. Enjoy casual seating, outdoor dining space, and a BBQ grill. Washer and dryer are available.For the disabled or elderly, there is only one step from our driveway into our home. The driveway is paved with ample parking for 2-4 cars. Extra cars may be parked in resort lots. We do not allow parking in the garage.SURROUNDING AREA: Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunitiesThis home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort’s website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends.
