Back River Beach Vacation Rentals Tybee Island give you a slightly different Tybee experience as they’re located on the back west side of the island facing the Savannah River instead of the Atlantic Ocean. If you follow Chatham Avenue south, you can reach the southern tip of Tybee. By taking 14th Street off of 7th, you can head east to the Atlantic side of the island.
