Description
Welcome to our secluded country hideaway, located near the charming Dutchess County towns of Amenia, Millerton and Millbrook. We sit up on a hill overlooking a farm pasture, surrounded by woods and a grassy expanse on 10 very private acres. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, sleeps 9, a spiral staircase into a kids loft, a media room, hot tub, firepit, BBQ grill, parking and much more. We installed a new solar array in 2022 that powers the entire home.Our home has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 9, a media room, an open kitchen, dining and living room areas, 3 full bathrooms, 2 king beds, a queen bed, bunkbeds, a sleeper sofa and two large decks with nice views. We have radiant floor heating throughout the house, and wall A/C units in all of the bedrooms and living room areas so it stays nice and cool in the summer months. Our large main deck has a gas BBQ grill and table and chairs that are perfect for outside dining. The other, more secluded deck has a hot tub, outside shower and chaise deck chairs. There is a very big side yard for yard games and endless, safe kid entertainment plus a tree swing. We also just installed a large gas generator, just in case the power goes out, so you would not be affected, if it did. Plus a high grade HEPA air purifier to help those with seasonal allergies.Exterior Cameras: please note that we have an exterior Arlo doorbell camera on the front door, which we use for package deliveries and security, as well as an exterior camera 200 feet from the home up our hill above the solar panels to monitor the home condition (eg – tree fall, snow on roof, etc.)* NOTE: Our family is allergic to pet hair so we have a 1-pet maximum policy, a pet fee for the additional wear and tear, and ask that all pets come with their own bed and linens.
