In town, but private with a classic front porch, deck, and large, fenced-in, landscaped yard. Build in 1874 as the North Church Congregational parsonage, the house has five bedrooms and 2.5 baths, hardwood floors, two kitchens, a large dining room, and two comfortable living rooms. Two families can easily share the house, yet still have a bit of privacy.Walk to the popular Belfast CoOp, fine restaurants, galleries, movie theater, town parks and beach. Stroll the Harbor Walk, watch the yachts, swim or kayak in the Bay. Less than an hour’s drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Camden, Rockland, and ferry terminals. Take your car or bikes and spend a day on one of the nearby islands. Explore Castine, Deer Isle, or Blue Hill. Search for antiques in Searsport. Visit the many state parks which offer hiking, camping, picnicking, and swimming.Bring home lobsters. Cook in the fully equipped, modern kitchen with granite counter tops, all new appliances, and service for 12. Second floor kitchen provides additional space or the opportunity for a private meal.Accommodations include two spacious, airy bedrooms with queen beds; three smaller bedrooms: one with queen bed, one with twin beds, and one with full-size bed.
