Walking distance to downtown Mystic, a spacious stay with an expansive yard and gardens, ample room for fun indoors and out.The spaceThis wonderful home is just a 7 minute walk from downtown Mystic, and is located along the Mystic River in the charming historic district. Walk to over a dozen restaurants, shops, and even the Mystic Seaport.Featuring over an acre of land, you will have access to expansive (seasonal) gardens, a pergola, fenced-in koi pond, beautiful stone walls and walkways, swing set, and two patio spaces. We also have outdoor games, a grill, and fire pit.Enter the house through the garden level mudroom, with storage for shoes and coats. This floor also features a game room with darts and a pool table, and a historic pub with full wooden bar and living room. Enjoy a drink while you watch the game on tv, or play some ping pong. One of the sofas on this floor is a sleeper and there is also a half bath on this level.Front and rear staircases lead to the first floor. There you’ll find a well equipped kitchen (Thermador and KitchenAid appliances) with everything you need to cook a fantastic meal – All Clad and Le Creuset pots and pans available. Off the kitchen is a walk-in pantry, laundry room, half bath, breakfast nook, den, and doors leading to the rear patio. The main floor continues through the dining room (with a gas fireplace and river views), covered deck, living room with tv, office, guest room, and full bath.Take the stairs to the second floor which features a large master bedroom with bath, 2 guest bedrooms, a small bedroom, full bath, and a walk through playroom (with bunk beds). The stairs between levels are narrow and steep. This is not the right house for individuals with mobility issues and young children will need to be supervised on the stairs. There is also a natural rock ledge in the back yard that guests may use at their own discretion and risk. Exterior security cameras are present on the property.
