Historic Manor House with Saltwater pool and Mountain Views

Our farmhouse is situated on the crest of our 14 acre farm with beautiful mountain views on all sides near the Rapadan River. With access to our salt water pool and garden gazebo, this is the perfect location for a friends getaway, family retreat, or wedding weekend.Built in the 1840’s and lovingly restored and updated, our farmhouse has lots of charm as well as modern conveniences including a newly renovated kitchen and geothermal heating & air. We kindly ask you to treat our farmhouse with care and respect.In addition to the living room, dining room, kitchen area, the downstairs includes a parlor with a dedicated workspace, a den with tv and sleeper sectional, a full bath, as well as sunroom with tv. So there are plenty of spaces to gather and relax.There are 3 bedrooms with multiple beds and 3 full baths upstairs, plus a twin daybed in the hallway so we can easily accommodate 12 adults.Outside there is a saltwater pool available to guests between May-September. There is also a garden gazebo and patio area with a grill. The outdoor areas are shared with guests who stay in our cabin (sleeps 4) and cottage (sleeps 2). These are listed separately. If you are interested in booking our entire property please message us.We are conveniently located near several wedding venues in the area including Market at Grelen (5 min), Barboursville Winery (15 min) Castle Hill (20 min). There are lots of things to do nearby including historic sites, wineries, hiking, antiquing, and pick your own orchards. Montpelier is 2 miles down the road and we are located near some of the top rated wineries in central Virginia including Pippen Hill, Horton and Keswick Vineyards. Nestled between Orange, Gordonsville, and Ruckersville you can access plenty of restaurants and antique stores within 15 minutes or less. For more restaurants and entertainment options we are just 30 minutes from Culpepper or Charlottesville.
