Lots of natural light throughout! Kitchenette includes a mini fridge and microwave. Huge & Comfy King Size Bed in the Bedroom. TV with Wifi to connect to Netflix and more! Bathroom has an antique clawfoot tub w/shower fixture inside the tub! The hallways & bathroom are tight but to be expected in a historic property. Just perfect for a quick stay in Savannah!More informationThe spaceStunning 1Br/1Ba Spacious with a huge and comfortable King Sized Bedroom! Floor to ceiling window leads out to the private balcony with bistro table and chairs which overlooks Habersham Street & Troup Square, perfect for people watching! Truly Private & Better than a hotel room!!! Separate Living Room with Large flat screen that can stream Netflix, Googlecast your favorite YouTube videos and antennae for local channels like the news. We also provide a mini fridge and a microwave to reheat leftovers. You won t be doing cooking here (seriously dont plan on it we dont have a full kitchen) because you re located in the middle of tons of great restaurants!!Property will be cleaned after 7 days with extra cleaning fee added if stay is longer than 7 days.This property has recently been updated and is a unique find for your stay downtown! The bathroom is a tight squeeze with a clawfoot tub & shower combo (not suitable for those with mobility issues since you have to step into the tub).Savannah’s newest Deli – Urban Deli right beside us. The expected opening date is January 1st.Are you a Movie Buff or obsessed with Savannahs hit book and film, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil?! This non-fiction work by John Berendt was published in 1994 and I HOFHLY suggest you read it or watch the movie before visiting. Our carriage house was used during the filming of the movie.Fun history for you history buffs!!! This carriage house was built as part of the main residence that was built in 1869 for John J. McDonough. He was elected to a two-year term as Alderman on the City Council in 1889. He was elected Mayor of Savannah in 1891 over incumbent John Schwarz and won re-election in 1893. Lots of cool history!Guest accessYou will have exclusive access to the property! This is an overtop of another property that is operated as an office space during the day, however, your entry is completely private with access entering in from the “lane”!This space offers a kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge, this is not a full kitchen so it is best suited for those looking to enjoy all the amazing restaurants Savannah has to offer. You can easily reheat leftovers and store drinks/water in the fridge, just be sure to grab take out utensils as we do not supply cookware and dining!PLEASE NOTE: We do not have glasses/cups for drinking water, dishes, WINE glasses, Utensils, etc… If you want to drink wine, please plan to pick up some to-go wine cups or bring your own!We also do not provide bath soap, shampoo or conditioner. Please make plans to bring your own or pick up at CVS/Kroger once you arrive! Both the grocery store and drug stores are easily walkable or a quick uber ride away.Street parking is available for this unit. It is non-paid parking. Must pay at the meters or you can download the app. Non-metered parking is on Harris street. This is an Urban area so you may have to look for a spot. Please be aware of sweeping zones when parking.Parking is STREET PARKING on non-metered limited time zone. City of Savannah offers a Visitor DAYPASS allows limited parking in any City parking garage/lot, parking overtime in limited time zones or at any parking meter with a time limit of one hour or more for a period of 48 hours from purchase. The Visitor DAYPASS is available to Savannah visitors for a price of $24 for 2 days and $15 for a single day.Troup Square is the park just south of this carriage house. Liberty Street is one of the streets north of here filled with tons of restaurants, bars, shopping and more!Interaction with guestsHands-off. You will receive a door code prior to checking in. If you have questions prior to arriving, just let me know however it is very likely you will not meet me as that is the way I prefer to travel anyway! :DOther things to note- The hallway is quite narrow as this is a historic property so please do not bring any large bags.- We do not provide silverware, plates, napkins, etc.-THERE IS NO KITCHEN (nor cups/drinking water provided, etc)-There is ONLY a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. We also do not provide bath soap, shampoo or conditioner. Please make plans to bring your own.-We do not have glasses/cups for drinking water, dishes, WINE glasses, utensils, etc… If you want to drink wine, please plan to pick up some to-go wine cups or bring your own! We do not have a “kitchen sink” so we do not provide any of these items.-Parking spaces are not included with this rental. Non-metered parking is available on Harris St. There is NO OFFSTREET or dedicated parking spots for my place however plenty of parking on the street. Pay attention to where you park if its metered or not, street sweep zones or limited time zones. You can park your vehicle in any city garage if you re concerned with it and walk back to our place or uber.-The TV is a SMART TV- you can chromecast to it. We also have an antenna for local channels, however, we do not offer cable.While we love animals, we are NOT automatically pet-friendly. If you have well-behaved, potty-trained, and well-traveled pets, please send an advance message prior to booking with age, breed, and weight for special consideration and approval. We charge $100 per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in.Please note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. However, starting from the 8th day, it’s mandatory to have the cleaning service and fee.
