This is the perfect home for enjoying your getaway with family and friends.Walled and gated, this Deepwell estate is designed for outdoor living. There’s an outdoor kitchen with counter seating. Built-in benches surround a fire pit. The incredible pool and spa offer a spectacular mountain view. A covered living and dining area can be further shaded with motorized awnings and cooled with a misting system. The yard is surrounded by a 20′ tall ficus hedge and has 32 palms towering overhead. The heart of the home is the spacious and open living room with exposed beams and original tiled fireplace flanked by walls of glass. Adjoining the living room is a lounge area next to a classic built-in wet bar and a wall of glass looking out on the cactus garden. This room is built for entertaining, conversation and cocktails! The owners’ collection of contemporary art includes many original pieces from up and coming artists. You could spend hours getting inspired looking at the artwork. The kitchen is equipped for those that like to cook. A large island centers the room with stools for those that like to nosh and watch the chef at work. There’s a 5-burner range, double ovens and tons of storage. The kitchen opens to the side garden with the outdoor kitchen. Steps away is the dining room with built in buffet and table seating for six. There are two large primary suites. The first has a king bed, desk and sitting area with smart TV and conveniently opens to the pool. The en-suite has a dual sink vanity, a tub and large walk-in shower. Just outside, there is a private outdoor shower garden. The second primary looks out on the front gardens and includes a king bed, sitting area, built-in storage and a smart TV. Its ensuite includes a tile and glass-enclosed tub/shower combo. The third bedroom, overlooking the gardens, has a queen bed, sitting area, smart TV and ensuite with a walk-in shower.Facing the pool there is a den with a desk, TV and two iconic Barcelona daybeds – perfect twin beds for kids! A hall guest bath has a walk-in shower and access to the pool area. While built in 1957 (and attributed to Donald Wexler) this was not one of the area’s midcentury tract vacation homes. The site and the home’s custom design were purposeful – always intended to be a timeless luxury retreat with amazing views. The home’s midcentury elegance and architectural pedigree were further strengthened when architect Albert Frey was commissioned to reimagine the home in the mid-80’s. Since then it has been thoroughly and tastefully updated.House of Views is everything you want in a luxury retreat that lives large but feels like home.RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:**Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day.
