Immaculate and just steps to the sand with A/C, Bikes, Parking and more…Due to Coronavirus we are taking all necessary precautions to clean and sanitize with the utmost care! Our cleaners will be wearing masks during the cleaning and using products with bleach and/or sanitizer to sanitize all surfaces. We also wash and dry all linens on the hottest settings. We will provide Lysol cleaning wipes and sanitizer for guest use. Prior to guest arrival and upon guest departure we will be asking if anyone has experienced any flu/virus like symptoms so that we might take extra precautions in those cases. We ask that guests reschedule their visit if anyone has been sick up to 1 week before their arrival.Ok on to the good stuff…This is the upstairs unit of our completely renovated duplex (downstairs listed separately and you can rent one or both). Each unit has 3 beds and 2 baths, and 1 parking spot in the carport/garage. If the downstairs unit is not rented you can take both spots. We have Air Conditioning (you DO need it in summer in Newport). We also provide bicycles with bike locks. We typically have 8 adults bikes (1 with a baby seat) and 2-3 kids bikes. We have tons of beach gear (beach towels, surf boards, boogie boards, wetsuits galore, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, pop up tents, etc..) We provide a fully stocked kitchen (not food of course, but some basics including coffee). Bedrooms are adorned with beautiful bedding, TV’s, AC, Ceiling fans, mirrored closets in most rooms and storage for your stuff. Bathrooms come with basics (blow dryer, soaps, shampoos, towels, etc..). One bathroom has a tub/shower and the other has a shower.The patio on this upper unit has a table with plenty of seating, places to hang your towels, an easy to use BBQ with propane tank (extra in garage in case you need it). Its a great place to spend the end of the day under the awning, enjoying the ocean breeze.Washer and dryer for this unit is in the garage. Soap provided.37th Street is a locals favorite. It is quieter than most streets and has less traffic. The curbs are red on our side of the street so no one will be parking in front of your house loading and un-loading (it can be really annoying). We also have less car traffic as it is a one-way street. We are next to the alley on one side of the duplex so we have less neighbor noise as well and it makes loading and unloading your stuff easier.The boardwalk starts on 36th street so we are just a few steps from the start of the boardwalk. It takes just a few minutes to get to the Newport Pier on 21st street. Or 2 miles if you want to go the Balboa Pier and Fun Zone.Just a quick walk across the street is a little playground with jungle gym, swings and shady grass area for picnics. There is a also a full court basketball court.Take a morning stroll with your coffee just past the park to Newport Island and look at all of the beautiful water front beach cottages.Parking in Newport can be difficult (mostly in summer and weekends) so you’ll be happy to have a parking spot in the carport/garage (the garage door stays up during your stay – car will stick out into the set back so its’ really more like a carport).Take a look at our downstairs property also a 3 bed/2 bath: Listing number 641842or rent both units together #1057530Please keep in mind this is an upstairs unit and if you have a very loud group or like late nights then you might be better off renting the downstairs unit. It won’t work out and you will lose your deposit and get kicked out. We check in all of our guests, we have noise alert equipment and Ring Cameras. There are no visitors permitted to come to the house only the guests included on the reservation without prior permission.Families please note that this is an upstairs unit and noise does transfer through the floors. If it will be hard to keep kids from running, jumping, and being noisy, please consider renting a downstairs unit.Host will not issue a refund after stated cancellation due dates for Covid or any other issues.
