Description

This historical building was originally built and operated as a school in the early 1900’s. The Freemasons took ownership of it in the 60’s and in late 2022, we purchased it to give it a new lease on life.Lovingly restored from the ground up, we have taken what we believe are the original school rooms on the second floor and transformed them into 3 luxury studios, catering to guests that want to enjoy where they rest and sleep as much as they are enjoying exploring the mid-coast of Maine.The freestanding bathtub, a state of the art coffee machine and high quality bed linens and seasonal comforters make this studio a perfect place to unwind after a day hiking in Acadia National Park and to plan your next adventure. Bucksport itself is a sleepy town with unparalleled views of Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Fort Knox. The waterfront is just one block away. Walk the delightful harbor walk with a coffee from the quaint bookshop, or grab a treat at the great local ice-cream parlor.
