Note this escape offers a lovely view across the lake from its hilltop perch – which rolls downhill to the firepit and dock, and its a climb back up. While not overly steep, its worth noting its probably not the best choice for any groups with mobility challenged folks. Similarly, the lake front is best accessed from the swim platform making it best for families with kids ready to jump in from the swim platform, not those looking for a beachy experience (which is available at the nearby state park).
