A must see one of a kind experience!Come explore Bois Blanc Island, a 45 minute ferry ride from Cheboygan Mi.This unique log home, we call the BBI Lake Effect Lodge, is constructed of 18″ logs and is magnificent to behold. The setting is very private with no nearby neighbors, yet the location is close to the Tavern, Diner, Ferry, and other attractions. A large private dock with good fishing for smallmouth bass is right out front. A campfire in the firepit is always a popular gathering spot.The kitchen is fully stocked, just bring your own food. A washer and drier is available for use.BBI offers many trails for hiking , 4-wheeling, and bicycle riding. Side-by-side vehicles are available for rent nearby.Fishermen and hunters are welcome. Fish for salmon, lake trout, smallmouth bass in Lake Huron or try one of 4 large inland lakes for perch, walleye, pike, bullheads, and small mouth bass. BBI has hundreds of acres of state owned hunting land and has a plentiful deer population. BBI is also a popular destination for duck hunters.See more
