Discover the scenic wonders of New Hampshire from this lovely Jackson property.This spacious home offers 2,400 square-feet of well-appointed living space and can comfortably accommodate 8, perfect for large family vacations or a relaxing retreat with friends.Please Note:Pet fee is $25 per dog per night.2 dog max, special permission for more.Please provide breed, age, tick/flea updateTHE PROPERTY2,400 square foot home. Three levels. Master Bedroom with King bed: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2. Bedroom 3: 4 Twin Beds Two family living areas, first and second levels. Our home is set on the side of Middle Mountain, just below Tryol Mountain in Jackson,N.H. the property is quiet and private. There is a wrap around deck with covered porch area which is safe for toddlers and dogs . The house has a tree house effect in that it is situated up on the property and looks down over Jackson Village and the surrounding area. There are three levels to the house.FIRST FLOOR:After going up a set of large steps surrounded by stone work terracing and gardens, there is a first level covered porch here that has 2 chairs and table. The entry leads you right to the large outdoor gear room to your right. There are many hooks on the walls as well as shelves and two large church pews for changing into and out of gear. We supply backpacks, umbrellas, snowshoes,crampons, and hiking sticks for your convenience. The outdoor gear/mudroom is blue tile while the family/game room is white maple wood flooring. On the other side of the split wall is the family game room,half bath and another church pew still set on tile. You’ll find a Hathaway 9′ shuffle board and tournament Tornado foosball table, a closet full of games, 2small sofas, t.v. with Xbox, and a 50″ Touchstone fireplace mounted on the wall. The room has plenty of windows with mountain views. On your left as you walk into the house is the laundry room area and has a wall of toys, games, and books for children and grown-ups. We supply picnic coolers,chairs,beach towels…There is a second refrigerator with a freezer. And also, washer and dryer, ironing board…SECOND FLOOR:is the main living area with an open plan of living room, dining room, and kitchen all with Brazilan cherry wood floors. The front of the house has a cathedral ceiling. A front door leads to the covered front porch where you’ll find a swing bench, tables, the charbroil grill, and a rocking chair. French doors in living area lead to the side of the house with wrap around deck, dining table for eight, 2 couches with thick comfy cushions and the Weber Genesis grill. There is also a propane firepit. The dining room door takes you to the backyard and the outdoor ping pong table as well as more seating areas, two hammocks, and a stone water pond. The dining room is surrounded by three walls of windows and has a french provincial table with seating for eight and two expanding leaves. The kitchen was custom designed with hand milled white oak cabinets and soapstone counters. Stainless double Kenmore wall oven, cooktop, and fridge. The walk in pantry is full of staples that you might find useful.THIRD FLOOR:The master has a king size bed, 50″ Touchstone fireplace and 6′ grey leather mirror. In the master there is a double shutter window that holds a beautiful view of Mount Washington.There is a walk in closet where Baby Bjorn crib, toddler bed gates, baby gates, pac n play, high chair, and linens are kept. The bathroom is large and easy to share as it has a dividing wall between shower area and sink/vanity area. There is a large closet with shelves and plenty of storage.THE AREAI love Jackson and the surrounding areas and am more than happy to give suggestions and recommendations before you arrive or when you arrive. Please feel free to contact me anytime! I will be in the area and hope to meet fellow travelers but also respect those that simply want privacy. This is living in the mountains at it’s best. One mile down our mountain is Jackson Village with charming shops and dining. Out the front door at the end of middle mountain trail road, you can pick up hiking or snowshoe trails which are part of the Tin Mine Conservation trails encompassing 17 acres of fields, 211 acres of forest, a couple of old tin mines, and four ponds to explore. Use Alltrails Ap and look for tin mine trail.Jackson Falls is right down the mountain 1.2 miles, an easy walk down, not so much coming back up. The falls are a must see and experience. Pack a picnic and spend a weekday or weekend early evening when tourists have left. Big slabs of warm boulders, big and small swimming holes, and a beautiful view.In Jackson you can also explore the Ellis river and the Wildcat river. There are pony rides and trail riding a short and scenic two mile drive from the house at Black Mountain which is also a great ski area filled with the nostalgia of the old days, t-bars… The Shovel Handle Pub there will have you feeling as though you have made a huge step back in time, absolutely charming.There is so much to see and do nearby, I hardly know where to start. So, Google the Jackson NH chamber of commerce for their links and that should keep you busy! Also, click on their calendar events.One of the best perks of being in this area is avoiding the traffic in Conway! There are so many beautiful places to go and things to do that will truly get you away from it all!Black Mountain is the closest ski area, less than 2 miles away and a lovely drive. Attitash and Cranmore ski areas are a 20 min. Drive. Wildcat ski area is 30 min. Away.
