If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 – Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. Please excuse us as we undergo renovations for a new gate house.GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CARWe understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports.The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.CAR PARKINGParking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.Other Things to Note:Cancellation Policy:Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.
