This beautifully appointed home offers stunning lake and mountain views and has everything one could ask for during their Grand Lake vacation. When you enter the home you’ll walk right toward the large and inviting Great Room with incredible views from each window. Living area features comfortable seating for everyone and a cozy gas fireplace for cooler evenings. Making dinner will be a pleasure in the chef’s kitchen and the dining area with large table is perfect for meals around the table or family game night! Come back from a day out exploring Grand Lake and the Rocky Mountain National Park and relax on the expansive covered deck overlooking Grand Lake with Mount Craig (commonly referred to as Mount Baldy) as the backdrop. Large yard with a wood burning fire pit and private dock ensure you’ll be spending much of your time outside enjoying Colorado mountain air! There are three private bedrooms, two with queen beds and the third has 2 sets of extra long twin bunk beds for our taller guests. There is also a private den with TV and sleeper sofa, so, everyone will be comfortable and happy to have their own space to retreat to at the end of an active day. Also has a loft with TV and very comfortable blow up sleeper sofa mattress for additional living and sleeping space. This home has a strict maximum occupancy of 12 and cannot be used for any type of special events where more than 12 would be present at any time. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly.
