La Jolla Beach Bungalow in La Jolla – with KING bed!Every aspect of our charming, completely renovated bungalow is thoughtfully designed to reflect our love of the San Diego beaches right down to the ocean sunset colors. With a fun retro vibe and surf decor, this completely upgraded beach bungalow is the perfect retreat — just a short walk to all the fun that La Jolla has to offer! Wake up and stroll to one of several nearby beaches, take a quick walk to La Jolla Village for cool coffee shops, restaurants and shopping, or visit the tidepools. And remember you are also just a quick hop, skip, and a jump away from everything else San Diego has to offer!The open concept kitchen and extended living room make this beach bungalow feel significantly more spacious than similar 1-bedroom bungalows in the area. The kitchen is complete with a full sized stove/oven and microwave plus a table for 4, the living room has a 50″ Smart TV, and the bedroom even features a KING sized bed! The living room also has a convertible sofa. The orange one is a European style that converts to a queen sized bed (much sturdier feeling when in “bed mode” than the traditional sofa beds we all grew up with) and is located in an area of the living room that makes it easy to leave the sofa in “bed mode” for the entire stay, if desired, while still maintaining a functioning living room in the remaining space, where a new Love Seat style couch adds to your overall seating.The house is located on its own private lot on a quiet residential street. It is tucked back behind another house (that’s why we call it The Hidden Gem!) and comes complete with private parking for 3-4 cars and a spacious private yard that is fully enclosed (great for kids and pets) — which is hard to come by this close to the beach!These old beach cottages all have their quirks — The Hidden Gem’s quirk is that you need to go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. The good news is that the bedroom is also easily accessed through an exterior sliding glass door which is just steps away from the back kitchen door – so it is easy for everyone to get where they need to go even when the house is full!There is a brand-new gas grill in the yard and Boogie boards and beach gear are also provided.Everyone loves a fun beach getaway. Come relax and enjoy this tastefully designed, unique Retro Surf Cottage!Dogs welcome. Max 2. Breed restrictions apply and 50-pound weight limit. Please ask if you are unsure.
