Step out the back door and you are steps away from the water. Laze away the days staring at the water from the garden swing or jump in your boat from the private dock and enjoy magnificent Lake Norman.The newly renovated open concept great room combines the kitchen, dining area and family room so you can enjoy your time together. Large windows and a sliding door bring the beauty of the lake right into the home.The kitchen features granite countertops, tiled backsplash and stainless appliances. It is fully equipped with quality pots, pans, flatware, dishes, serving ware, utensils and small appliances. A large counter peninsula provides a gathering spot with stools so the “chef” can be kept company while preparing the group’s meals. Of course, the counter can also be used to serve the pizza that you just had delivered!Across the way is a comfy sitting area where you can choose your view. You can face the gas fireplace and enjoy the warmth of the flames. Or choose to log in to your streaming services on the Roku that’s attached to the large TV. Feeling nostalgic? Turn on the Atari system and play the games of yesteryear. Of course you can also choose to face the lake and enjoy the stunning views. Under the TV you’ll find dozens of board games to fill your nights and rainy days. The Queen pullout sofa can sleep 2 additional guests.On the first floor is the Master bedroom with a King size bed. The bathroom across the hall serves this bedroom as well as the common space on this first level. It has a large vanity and walk-in shower. It also serves as the laundry room for the home.Up the stairway to the second floor are two guest bedrooms, one providing a King bed and the other two extra long twins. All of the bedrooms feature ceiling fans, lamps, Amazon echo alarm clocks, and power points on the night tables. Down the hall is the second bathroom with a large vanity and walk-in shower. Both bathrooms are stocked with plenty of fluffy white bath towels, large hand towels, washcloths and make-up towels. The two showers have complimentary shampoo, conditioner and bodywash.The outdoor living space is spectacular, with a back patio featuring a dining table for 6, comfortable loveseat and chairs and a grill with complimentary propane. On part of the vast lawn you’ll find a firepit with Adirondacks and plentiful firewood for your use.Sit on the lakeside swing or pick a seat on the dock to relax while sipping your coffee or wine. Continuing towards the water is the private dock for you to keep your rental or personal boat. It’s also the perfect spot to fish or jump in the water and float around.Use the private boat launch if you bring your own boat. Or use it to jump on any of the kayaks and SUPs that are provided. In the shed you’ll find a selection of life vests as well as plenty of tubes, rafts and yard games to play on the huge lawn.
