You may hear planes and/or choppers flying training missions near the lake, as the ‘Range’ is about a mile away. Sometimes artillery practice is heard, and sometimes we are treated to night sky flares. We are thankful for the training our National Guard receives near here to defend our country. There may be noise from some of the activity, but this training center offers no threat of danger to the lake property’s residents.
