Lakefront Vacation House w/ quiet, sandy beach/boats -Great location 10 minutes from Ludlow, VT (Okemo), 20 minutes from Killington area, and 30 minutes from Rutland, Springfield, and Woodstock. Comfortable country home with updated kitchen/baths used for many years by vacationing/skiing families.Just off of Rt 100N, the house is located at the southern end of Echo Lake with a “drop dead, gorgeous” view of the lake from the front porch. Easy in and out in winter weather. New kitchen and appliances in spring 2022 – new master bath in 2023.Walking distance (10 minutes) to 2 fine dining locations and an idyllic, small country church. Swimming beach with gentle, sandy entry, dock, boats, kayaks, paddleboards, float…and 60 acres in back for hiking and exploring … all that is needed for a great summer vacation.In winter, skating on lake in front…hills for kids’ sliding….and, year around there there are the woods in back for hiking, snowshoeing, and enjoying nature with great hiking/walking possibilities.
