Description
Due to popular demand:We are opening our undeveloped seven acres of pristine and undeveloped land to camping (we have a total of 12 acres adjacent to 10 more empty acres for a total of 22 walkable, mostly lakefront land). At this time there are NO facilities. No bathNo showerNo toiletNo tents.Just your self-contained vehicle and nature. In case you mis-read that—this is ONLY a place to camp. We don’t have trash, bathrooms or water. The spaceGorgeous views from your camping area, and plenty of places to fish, hike and enjoy the pristine land near (but not “on-top-of” our homes).ALL you get is a place to set up YOUR tent.We ask that you LEAVE NO TRACE of your visit when you go–that means taking any waste with you.We don’t have trash cans or any bathrooms/showers.We are far enough away from town that there are NO delivery options for, well, anything like pizza etc! This means night skies are incredible.Assuming no fire ban in effect, you’re welcome to sit by the fire and sip whiskey or help the kids cook hotdogs or S’mores. There is a wooden picnic table at your site, along with a fire pit, surrounded by rocks. That’s it. No tents provided at this time.Guest accessThe dock and boat launch are for the 5 homes on the other side of the road. IF you ask nicely we may permit you to use them–but our response will be based on the occupancy of the homes. (there are ample places to launch small boats from your side, and a coastline that stretches all the way around the seven acres you’ll be camping on.Other things to notePlease, no parties or being loud. This is family resort atmosphere, our guests are most often couples, or families often with small children.Loud groups of people doing heavy drinking or causing disturbances or interfering with other guests may be asked to leave. The property has a very calming and meditative aura and we intend to keep it that way.Our ideal guest wants to get away from the noise and city life, loves nature and is eager to enjoy time here that REFRESHES and REJUVENATES the soul.If that’s you, we’re eager to host!
