We love the waterfront patio and great room. This cottage is centrally located to many area attractions and is best for those looking to be steps from the pristine waterfront. While we take a great deal of care for the cottage at Alpine Resort, if you’re seeking a perfect flawless place or are super high maintenance this is not the place for you. The location is beautiful; there is a seasonal breakfast/lunch diner, public beach, and jungle gym right across the street. This place is perfect for groups and families looking to settle in for a while or just for a long weekend! We also have 4 kayaks, bikes, air hockey/foosball, garage area available for shared use!Guests have access to all common areas; driveway area, yard around cabin, boardwalk/dock area, kayaks, bikes, air hockey/foosball, garage area.-Note also that this is a resort with 4 separate buildings being rented however there is still plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the grounds, reference overhead photos if you have questions on layout.-The property is also located on a busier road which does cause some daytime noise however we don’t feel it takes away from the location.-The Jetty diner/campground store across the street! (seasonal)-Beach/play structure across the street (seasonal)-Grocery market/2 restaurants (one on waterfront/one pizza takeout)/gas station/ATM ~1 min drive-Hit the Road Joe on Elm (likely passed on the way in) amazing pizza and breakfast call/plan ahead as they have limited hours-Newaygo State Park and the famous dragon trail (hiking/biking/etc) ~10 min drive-Dragon Trail/Hardy Dam ~10 min drive-ORV Trails ~15 min drive-Newaygo Brewing Co ~12 min drive-Coolbough Natural Areas/hiking ~10 min drive-City of Newaygo (shops, fast food, canoe rental, hardware store, grocery, etc) ~12 min drive-Boat launch ~5 min drive
