LakeView Cottage features two levels with plenty of windows to let in natural light and a rustic stone fireplace in the living room that opens onto the partially covered deck — perfect for cool mountain days.The main level has a dining room with a sitting bench in the newly-redone bay windows, a cozy kitchen with a pass-through window, and a spacious livingroom with comfortable furniture and of course the fireplace. It has two bedrooms just past the kitchen– one with two Twin beds, and another with a Queen Bed & private half bathroom. A full bathroom shares the hallway with these bedrooms.”Down below” through the metal spiral staircase, you’ll find a King bedroom suite with its own TV and access to the lower patio, as well as another full bathroom and a large laundry room. Get a peek at Lake Sequoyah through the foliage from the deck as you lounge in the cool mountain air, or hop in the car for a short 2 mile drive to Downtown Highlands and all of its wonderful shopping and dining opportunities. For more water views, a quick trip in the other direction will have you following the Cullasaja River Gorge with several hiking and waterfall stops along the road!*This is an animal friendly property. Pets must be approved and a pet fee is required.*[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]** Please be advised that the Convenience fee is the credit card processing fee for the reservation.
