Description

Our home, the last house on a point of land, has been our peaceful summer retreat since 1986. Decks on both sides afford both an east and west view of the water. The rocky shoreline has a few sandy places for sunbathing and swimming depending on the changing of the tide. We enjoy harbor seals, blue herons, osprey, geese, gulls, and we occasionally see bald eagles!The interior has a comfortable, open floor plan downstairs with full bath and laundry. On the second floor there are two bright, queen bedrooms, a twin bedroom, an office area with a day bed and a full bath. Two of the bedrooms open directly onto the balcony which makes it possible to lie abed and view the water beyond.In addition to the usual amenities, we leave the kitchen stocked with spices, condiments, baking ingredients and canned goods with the understanding that whomever uses the last of anything replaces it for incoming guests. There is high speed wireless internet and basic cable.Our best recommendation is that folks keep coming back. Check out our guest reviews! PLEASE NOTE: From June 1 to October 1, we STRONGLY prefer weekly rentals which begin and end on the weekend.
