Throw some steaks or hamburgers on the propane grill and then take a well-deserved nap. For your evening entertainment, if the weather is cool, snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace and sip on some of Northeast Georgia’s local wine.We’re sure you won’t, but if you get tired of being in the tranquility of the woods, Alpine Helen is just a 15-minute drive away for a fun day of shopping, playing mini-golf, or trying one of many delicious restaurants. If you want some more adventurous water fun, visit the Helen Water Park or go tubing on the famous Chattahoochee which winds its way through Alpine Helen.For outdoor enthusiasts, you will be in an area full of hiking trails and waterfalls.
