Grocery stores, gas stations, Starbucks less than 1/2 mile. Close to shopping malls and big box retail (3-10 min drive). Beautiful historic Old Town Alexandria, King Street Metro and Amtrak Station is 2 miles away. Very fast access to the Smithsonian, Washington Monument, DC Wharf (only go through one traffic light to reach downtown DC)- 10 mins non-rush hour.Getting Around: Fast access to the highway, so you can reach downtown DC very quickly. In fact, you only need to drive through ONE traffic light to reach downtown DC. For this reason, it is easier to reach downtown DC from here via car/Uber than from many locations within DC and MD. The Washington Monument and National Mall/Smithsonian Museums are approximately 6 miles away. Closest metro and Amtrak train is at King Street Station.Perfect spot if you prefer more space to spread out with parking in a quiet neighborhood as opposed to staying in DC where accomodations are usually smaller, lack parking and are noisier.
