It’s just a half-mile to Loon Mountain, with daily shuttle service during ski season. In the summer and fall, take the gondola to the peak and explore glacial caves and other mountaintop activities. At the base, try rock climbing, Loon’s zip line, or take a Segway tour. Shopping, antiques, theater, kayaking, golf courses, hiking trails and bike routes are all nearby as well.Kids will love the bear show. Chinese acrobats and bumper boats at the famous Clarks Trading Post. And save at least half a day for Whale’s Tale Water Park.
