Named after the mountain it overlooks, this beautiful new modern cabin is perched on a ridge facing Bent Creek Experimental Forest. Convenient location offers easy access to all that Asheville has to offer. Find rest and recharge with beautiful views from every room, and a great deck to grill from.This modern cabin is warm and welcoming with beautiful features throughout, including large timber framed ceilings and stairs. The home is three stories with a common area on the main floor and bedrooms on the upper and lower. It is EcoStar certified and was featured in the 2020 Asheville Parade of Homes!The home is nestled in a quite cove behind Bent Creek Experimental Forest and Enka Lake. There is access into the forest less then a mile away while still convenient to the city. 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, and the main entrance to Bent Creek. 30 Minutes from the Airport and Sierra Nevada. If you enjoy mountain biking and want to explore some classic Pisgah loops you are 40 minutes from the entrance to the Ranger District.The easiest way to get around is by car, the home is located in a mountain side neighborhood with paved roads and drive way, accessible by any vehicle. The roads and drive way are steep so please take extra precaution in inclement weather or at night.For those interested in working remote or needing connectivity the home has 400Mbps cable internet service and a Orbi Mesh router to ensure good WiFi throughout the house. Cell signal is also great, with LTE and 5G on both Verizon and T-Mobile.If you are bringing little ones we have a pack n play (with sheets), baby gates, kids dinnerware, and a baby/toddler carrier hiking backpack! We have three young kids so if you need anything in advance let us know!*Please Note*We want to be great stewards of the home and neighborhood. Please be respectful while driving to the cabin, drive slow in the neighborhood (15mph!) and watch for pedestrians, kids, and pets. Please no partying or loud noise at any time during your stay.
