Our property is on a deep part of the river in the Canyon Tailrace area below Canyon Dam. Texas Parks & Wildlife is stocking the Canyon Reservoir Tailrace with thousands of rainbow trout each week from early December through late-January. This area is one of the top trout-fishing destinations in the U.S. during the peak of the cool-weather trout fishing season-December through March. Bring your fishing poles and fishing license.Book now for a place to stay during New Braunfels’ Annual Wurstfest festival. This 10-day annual event every November celebrates the local German culture with dancing, music, food and beer. Tickets may be purchased online and go on sale in September.
