Description

Our cabin is on 11 acres, and we have only one neighbor in the summer only. The cabin is on the side of a private mountain at 1300 feet elevation so there is an entire mountain to hike or snowshoe(all sizes available for your use). Our porch overlooks a brook that passes right by the house. Because it is remote, cell phone service is spotty at the cabin, but you can use WIFI calling or the land line, we stream TV and have a ROKU and smart TV if you have Netflix/Amazon Prime/HULU etc. subscriptions. WiFi is good unless you are streaming and on phones and computers at the same time. There are sleds , snow shoes and snow tubes as well.The Cabin is 10 minutes from Great Sugar Houses (Maple Syrup Weekend end of March), and Artisan and Dairy Farms (There is a Vermont cheese weekend and the dairy farms give tours). In 20 minutes you can get to Manchester (18 miles), Bromley Mountain is 25 miles, The Norman Rockwell Homestead in Arlington and another terrific general store are about 15-20 minutes away. In Dorset there is a great marble quarry for swimming; about 15-20 minutes.Saratoga Springs is about 35-40 miles and the drive is not bad if you want to see the horse races or go to the mineral baths.There are all types of board games and a pool table in the lower level. There is also a laundry room in the lower Level.The kitchen is fully applianced right down to coffee grinder and garlic press.Bedroom on the main level has a queen bed, the Lower Level bedroom has two twins and the upstairs bedrooms have 4 twins in each but comfortably sleep two adults in each. Because we are on the side of a mountain, the lower level is a walk out and bedroom has a window.Our driveway is long and steep, so we recommend an AWD vehicle in the winter months.We are sure you will enjoy the cabin as much as we do.The Spirito Family
