There’s also a cozy loft space for quiet relaxation and a desk for catching up on work. Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort, the setting is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. Enjoy the serenity of this 1 acre property with multiple porch swings, a seasonal creek, and walking paths that adjoin a forest right outside your back door. The large deck features a hot tub, hammock, casual seating, outdoor dining space, herb garden, and a BBQ grill. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available for guest use.The driveway can fit 5 vehicles and additional vehicles can park off the street or in resort parking lots. A garage is available for storing your gear but we request that guests not park cars in the garage.SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort’s website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends.
