This is a classic, 75-year-old log cabin on Little Platte Lake, near Honor Michigan. The cabin has a dock on Little Platte with aluminum fishing boat and canoe.Little Platte Lake, a scenic 805-acre lake with quiet, natural beauty, eagles, loons, beaver and great fishing for bass and pan fish.If you’ve stayed with us before you’ll be happy to know that the kitchen has a new floor, counter top and cabinets (2022) and the bathroom has been completely remodeled (2023).Kitchen has an electric range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and all the usual pots, pans, and utensils.Bedroom details: One queen, one standard double, and one bedroom with bunk beds. Guests need to bring their own sheets, pillow cases and bath towels.We are only 15 miles from Empire (antiques, beaches, hiking trails) 15 miles to Frankfort (charter fishing, glider rides, shops and restaurants, and 4th of July fireworks) 20 miles to Glen Arbor (galleries, cute shops, restaurants) 15 miles to Crystal Mountain Resort (golf, Michigan Legacy Art Park, #1-rated ski resort in the Midwest) 18 miles to Interlochen (concerts, theater, exhibits, arts camp, arts academy) 25 miles to Traverse City (airport, more restaurants, casinos and shopping at outlet and other malls and of course the National Cherry Festival) 30 miles to Arcadia Bluffs.
