You can even see the Hollywood Sign on the corner of Franklin and Gower. Turn right and continue walking one block until you reach Beachwood Blvd, which will take you up a one mile road towards the Hollywood Hills,..and eventually within a stone’s throw of the iconic Hollywood Sign. Continue until you reach Griffith Park entrance where they offer horseback riding or you can take a beautiful hike up their endless trails into the mountains. Alternatively, if you continue on Franklin, past Beachwood, one more block on, you will arrive at Franklin Village, and a row of trendy, local cafes and restaurants including the Daily Planet (Clark Kent/Superman’s newspaper employer), an international newspaper stand and coffee shop, and few doors down, La Poubelle, Birds, Bourgeois Pig, Sushi, Thai food and the improvisation comedy theatre house, the Upright Citizens Brigade.
