Our kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans and serving dishes, mugs, glasses, and dishes for 12 people to all eat together.There is a Nespresso coffee machine, as well as a standard drip coffee maker.Our top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances include a large refrigerator, freezer, oven, 6-burner gas range and microwave.What’s provided:We like to think of ourselves as a ‘home away from home’, supplying all the things you need for a memorable stay with friends, family and/or colleagues.-All towels and linens, a variety of tea and cooking basics-Toilet paper and paper towel rolls-Liquid soap at all sinks. Please bring your preferred toiletries.-A house hairdryer is available for use.Extra special features:-The light and airy Great Room has an oversized stone fireplace as it’s centerpiece, vaulted ceilings, radiant marble floors and large windows.-Views of the Sheepscot River and downtown Wiscasset on the veranda.-Private, outdoor pool-Tea house with fireplace and wifi-Mooring ball-Walking trails across the 43 acre estate- Walkable railroad track that runs right into town (use at your own risk)-Plenty of parking in the front yard.-Local shops and restaurants in Wiscasset are just 5 minutes away by car. The world famous, as seen on The Food Network, Red’s Eats, for the best lobster roll in Maine. Enjoy waterfront dining with panoramic views and a cozy atmosphere at Water Street Kitchen and Bar.-When the home is not rented it is used as a private residence to the property owner and his family.*The barn, pantry and master suite closet will be locked and out of bounds to guests.*We look forward to welcoming you to The White House!
