The free spaces close at 10:30 pm so you have to move your car before then. The paid parking spaces go for $1/hr and do not close at a certain time so they can be used for overnight parking. You can pay with cash or card, just go to the parking machine and enter your license plate plus the number of hours, which will print out a ticket to put on your dashboard.
