The 2nd floor has a bonus room where kids can play in their own space while adults can enjoy the downstairs area. You will have access to the scenic waterfront trails by the Catawba River, you can also enjoy kayaking, tubing, and other water activities, available for you to book on your own. You can enjoy the playground and fitness center at the amenity center. The Catawba River is on the other side of the berm with access to trails, fishing, kayaking, tubing, and scenic waterfront walks on the trails. You will be located 14 minutes from Carowinds, 26 minutes to Uptown Charlotte, 11 minutes from Anne Close Greenway (a natural escape to enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking and a children’s farm); 15 minutes from Zipline and Disc golf at Camp Cannan, 40 minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway, 30 minutes from the Whitewater center where you can enjoy white water rafting, ziplines, jumps, rope courses, mountain biking, trails, hiking, flatwater kayaking, and deep water solo climbing complex (available late-spring thru fall), and ice skating (available mid-Nov to mid-Feb), 45 minutes from Two Kings Casino (in Kings Mountain)18 minutes to Upper Room Chapel (replica of Last Supper was held), 11 minutes from Carharrt Mansion Ruins (Carharrt clothing) where you can hike and tour the mansion’s ruins and cuisine from all over the world within 30 minutes.
