Beautiful landscaping, a well thought out floor plan, 9 ft. ceilings, and 2 living rooms complete with gas fireplaces are all part of this Massanutten home. The open main level features a great room with a stone fireplace, a well designed kitchen with granite countertop and seating, and a large dining table. The brand new back deck holds a gas grill and large dining table.5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathsBedroom 1: main level, king bed, en suite bath, jetted tubBedroom 2: upstairs, king bed, private balconyBedroom 3: upstairs, queen bedBedroom 4: upstairs, queen size murphy bed, memory foam topper, deskBedroom 5: lower level, queen bed, full bathAll linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available for guest use.Can fit 4-6 cars between the driveway and street parking. This property has a locked garage that is not available for guests’ use.SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort’s website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.***Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs.*You are visiting a home located in the woods, in the mountains. You will likely see insects, including flying ones, as well as arachnids. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removedFires are strictly prohibited at this property. You are not allowed to build a campfire or use a firepit/barrel – A minimum fine of $700 will be assessed to cover local fines, as well as any direct damage/cleanup expenses will be billed back.This home has a gas grill – Charcoal is not allowed. If you use charcoal in the gas grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.Turn off all lights when leaving the property.Please read the check out instruction on the refrigerator and in the Welcome Book. Note that check out is at 10 a.m.Interior locked closets are off limits to guests.Only registered guests are to be in the house.Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in use.Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed.*Package delivery is not available at Massanutten homes.The garage at this home is locked and is not available for guests’ use.There is a Ring Doorbell Camera that records audio and video based on movement and a ring spotlight camera over the garage to record the driveway/lower level door.Pet Rules:-We are not able to host puppies under nine months old and/or any dog that is not housebroken.-Pet waste needs to be cleaned up promptly and disposed of properly.-Must be crated when in the house alone.-Stay off all furniture.-Must have advance notice of pet on property.-Can not be left alone outside.
