The open main level features a great room with a stone fireplace, a well designed kitchen with granite countertop and seating, and a large dining table. Washer and dryer are available for guest use.Can fit 4-6 cars between the driveway and street parking. This property has a locked garage that is not available for guests’ use.SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort’s website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.***Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs.*You are visiting a home located in the woods, in the mountains. If you use charcoal in the gas grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.Turn off all lights when leaving the property.Please read the check out instruction on the refrigerator and in the Welcome Book. Note that check out is at 10 a.m.Interior locked closets are off limits to guests.Only registered guests are to be in the house.Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in use.Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at check out.
