Description
The major renovation is so recent that we will enter updated pictures as soon as they are available! The kitchen, living room, dining area, and hallway have all had a major facelift, so pictures online are actually the “before” pictures for these areas. This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood just one block from Grand Avenue and just a short walk from Grand Lake! It has a private courtyard and deck out back at which you can enjoy a campfire or eat meals. It has a fully stocked kitchen, large master bathroom with tub, 2 additional guest bedrooms (one has a skylight.) It has an outdoor firepit and charcoal grill, a laundry room, and internet – all of the amenities needed to enjoy a vacation in beautiful Grand Lake!The master bedroom and one guest bedroom each has a queen-size bed. The other guest bedroom has 2 twin beds.This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.Enjoy the splendor of Mount Baldy from the front yard, and enjoy the moose (and occasional bear) who frequently wander through that neighborhood. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.)This cottage is located close to the repertory theatre, shopping, a grocery store, and restaurants. It is also just a short drive (about 1 mile) from Rocky Mountain National Park.
