    Description

Manzanita Rest – Remodeled Cabin in MariposaYou will love this one bedroom, one bath cottage nestled in the gorgeous Sierra Nevada foothills. Situated between Mariposa town proper and Oakhurst, you have options for entering Yosemite or finding a nice place to eat. Close enough to the highway for quick access, while remote enough to gaze at the stars at night, this is a vacation gem. Whether you want to wear yourselves out hiking in Yosemite and just crash for the night, or have a romantic weekend in a peaceful setting, this is the place! This little house was a labor of love for the last two years and has undergone extensive remodeling. Be one of the first to enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine and breakfast cooked in the brand new kitchen. (Or with a less than five minute drive, you can experience locally famous Mariposa Coffee Company – there are really no bad options here.) You will love every touch in the cabin, from the beautiful stoneware dishes to the live plants throughout. There is plenty of space to sit and read a book or lose yourself daydreaming while you stare out the windows at the natural surroundings. For evening entertainment, you’ll find a walk down the quiet road refreshing, or you can stream your favorite show while relaxing on the leather love-seat. Enjoy a puzzle at the dining table, or just sit outside and look at the stars which are so clear and bright away from the light pollution of the city. Then head to bed and discover the bliss of sleeping on 100% Egyptian cotton sheets and an organic Nest mattress. If the sound of the crickets outside doesn’t lull you to sleep, you can always employ the white noise machine which we provide. Many locals agree that spring is the most beautiful season for Mariposa and surrounding areas. In the springtime the surrounding hills are lush with green growth and dotted with delicate wildflowers. This season is especially great for visiting Yosemite to see the glory of the waterfalls at their fullest capacity! Book now – the calendar fills up quickly!
