Mariner’s Cottage – Newly remodeled across from Bayshore Beach ParkWelcome to the Mariner’s Cottage! This home is newly remodeled and located in the heart of Grand Marais. Mariner’s Cottage is within walking distance to Agate Beach and Bay View Park, as well as everything in the downtown. Enjoy views of the beautiful Grand Marais Bay right outside your pictured window. Sit on the porch and watch the sailboats or the amazing colorful sunrise only Lake Superior landscape can offer.Inside you will find all of the comforts of a modern house with large rooms, new appliances, WiFi, and a Roku TV. The Mariner’s Cottage provides sleeping accommodations for up to ten people, making this home the ideal place for families and friends to come together, relax, and reconnect. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, the third bedroom has a double bed and the final bedroom has two twin beds. There is one full bath with a stand-up shower, as well as a second-half bathroom. The dining room features a farmhouse size table and the kitchen is stocked with new appliances and a breakfast table. In the living room you will find a sofa sleeper and chairs. It is a wheelchair accessible home with a ramp, large doorways and a low barrier shower. Utility room with a washer and dryer for your use. Plenty of room for large families located in the heart of Grand Marais.Attached to the house is a deck with seating, a porch swing, and a charcoal grill. Board games and puzzles are also available for those who want to unplug and recharge with family. Bayshore Park, Agate Beach, shopping, dining, and museums are all very short walks from the front door, Burt Township Community Center is next door. A quick bike ride will land you at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore where one can find ample hiking, beachcombing, and wildlife viewing opportunities.
