It has a small kitchen and cozy dining room overlooking a wrap-around porch with a secluded view of Megunticook Lake through the pines. The main room is the heart of the house and centered around a wood-burning fireplace. A guest bath is located off the main room. The porch provides the perfect place to enjoy your afternoon cocktail, dinner, and a secluded perch to hear loons on summer nights. Fishing in early June when the lake is quiet, to paddleboarding and swimming in the summer, or taking the canoe to peep the fall leaves; our family has loved spring, summer and fall.. On clear nights, star gazing is spectacular from the dock.BOATSThe property includes a fishing boat, canoe, and two kayaks. Need something else? Maine Sport provides kayak rentals; Maine Boat Company provides speed boats if you want a bit more speed.WATERWe drilled a well last year and are installing filters to make the water potable.
