Description

Located at the end of a dead-end road with public lands on three sides and only a short-walk to 540 feet of private river frontage. Fantastic trout fishing on our private river frontage or on TVA public lands offering anglers over 1.5 miles of accessible wade fishing. Or, enjoy a walk on over five miles of well-maintained river trails right out your door. This cozy cabin sleeps up to three comfortably and includes two screened covered porches; relax on the wicker furniture in the front of the cabin and dine at the table in the back while enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature around you. A firepit as well as complimentary firewood awaits your story telling evenings. This one-room studio features a full well appointed kitchen and a private, full bath. (All linens are provided.) If you prefer cooking outside, a propane grill and utensils are provided. Complimentary items include coffee/filters for drip-coffee maker, 2 milk-crates of seasoned firewood/kindling, and free hi-speed 60mbps fiber Wifi along with expanded basic cable TV. Tailwaters Lodge is beautifully located on 540′ of the South Holston River, a tailwater just below the South Holston Dam, a prime spot for wade-fishing for wild brown trout and plentiful rainbow trout. And, the property abuts the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) public lands offering an additional mile of ideal wade fishing, TVA Bike trails, and TVA hiking trails.
