Set on seven acres of land, this property sits mere feet from the ocean with some of the finest views of Frenchman’s Bay and Acadia National Park. This log cabin has been lovingly restored and added to over the years! A spacious deck, with lots of seating, overlooks the breathtaking views. The screened-in porch provides a lovely place to rest after a long day of activities at nearby Acadia National Park at Schoodic Peninsula. The main cottage is suitable for 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking fun and part of the social activity of the cottage. The basement houses the laundry and 2 bikes which you are free to use. There are two full bathrooms in the main cabin equipped with everything you may need. The property is an easy, scenic 1 hour drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. If you’re feeling adventurous, you and your guests can take the local ferry across the bay, leaving frequently from nearby Winter Harbor (reservations required). Come wrap up in a blanket, sit on the porch with one of Maine’s many craft beers, and take in the views and tranquility on the Maine coast.
