On the top deck there is a gas grill along with chaise lounge chairs to relax and watch the sunset when the weather permits. The bottom deck has a brand new hot tub to enjoy with plenty of comfy seating.Families are encouraged. If you have children, we installed safety gates on both stairwells. This is definitely not the neighborhood to party in so we ask that you keep any noise at a reasonable level, especially between 10pm and 9am.If you’re looking for livelier entertainment, the Village Center is located just a 5-10 minute drive away where there are plenty of great restaurants, shops, and bars.Everything in Big Bear is within a short driving distance, but if you find yourself without a vehicle, our cabin is walking distance to mountain shuttle stops on Big Bear Blvd.We have 2 official parking spots in our driveway. There is one very small additional street parking spot available in front of our house, to the right of our driveway, but be sure to pull the vehicle completely off of the street. THERE ARE ONLY TWO PARKING SPOTS IN THE DRIVEWAY WHEN THERE IS SNOW.Please DO NOT park in front of our neighbor’s yards or homes. We will hear about it and WILL ask you to move your extra vehicles. You will also be FINED for having a vehicle parked on the street when snow plows are running.Village Distance: 14 minutes away from the home.Slope distances: Snow Summit is 13 minutes away from the home. Bear Mountain Ski Resort is 10 minutes away from the home.We have high chairs and pack n plays available at our office for rent for a fee of $25 per day for each or as a packaged deal, please notify us in advance if you would like to rent these during your stay.To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our ‘things to know’ and ‘house rules’ sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.Please read the listing carefully to confirm all house rules.No pets $3500 fine plus damagesNo smoking inside $3500 plus damagesNo hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in a severe issue – if hot tub is left uncovered or user error or we have to dump and fill the water to maintain cleanliness standards for you and it takes up to 24 hours to warm up we cannot grant refunds or discounts for spa temperatures not rising unless it is found to be an equipment complete failureNo over occupancy – $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages no street parking at any time this is separate and apart from any fines issued by the city for going over occupancy, music heard at the property line, noise after 10pmNo events or parties – any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction same with smoking or pets – owner is highly allergic$25 per bag of trash left in the fridge, in kitchen or onsite anywhere – this is the law and we must abide by it$45 dirty dishes fee – our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law and $35 fee to clean the grill if food left on it
