There is one flight of stairs up to the home on the 2nd floor. Sorry, there are no elevators.2nd floor:The home is open and airy, providing ample social and entertaining space. There are two patios and floor to ceiling windows in the living room that provide fantastic natural light during the day and city lights at night. If you are considering sleeping on the couch (folds into a futon twin) in the living room, please note that this space does not have any light filtering shades. You will be sleeping with the city views!Upstairs:The main living area is separated by a small stairs which lead you to the bedrooms. Each bedroom has blackout curtains, large closets and a full en-suite private bath.Bedroom 1: QueenBedroom2: KingWhat it’s like staying in the city:We are located in the Little Italy District of the beautiful and bustling Downtown San Diego. As such, you will hear typical city-living sounds in our home.For most guests looking to stay in any city environment, these sounds are not an issue (it’s actually really fun to watch the airplanes land along the water and immerse yourself in the thriving city day-to-day) , but for those who may be more sensitive to the city-scape noise and planes overhead we provide triple-paned windows, sound machines and earplugs.If you are traveling with little ones that require pure silence to sleep though, you may consider another location outside of the downtown area to be better suited for your needs.Parking is NOT included, but there are paid garages, Lots and metered parking all around the home, if you are traveling with a car. Most will be $20 for a 24-hr period. The best way to get out and explore the area though, is on foot. Numerous cafes, eateries, and bars are just steps away for fantastic dining.
