Description
Monthly Stays with a View at the “Roadrunner Respite”Enjoy unobstructed mountain views and easy access to downtown in our mid-century home. The unit is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and digital nomads looking for a place to call home for a month or longer.I’m happy to offer fast and reliable wifi (87 Mbps), smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Amazon Prime), powerful central AC/ heat, ample off-street parking, comfortable and stylish furniture, and unparalleled views of the San Jacinto Mountains.I’ll be available via text at all times, and my property manager will be available in-person as needed.THE SPACEMy place is one unit in a three unit home (triplex). The unit is open concept with a living room area and dining area that leads to a full kitchen. There is one bedroom with a full closet and a bathroom. The folks in the other two units are longtime Palm Springs residents and are very thoughtful and courteous neighbors.I spend winters in the apartment to be near family, so it comes equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable long term stay. The bedroom includes: a queen sized Casper mattress, sheets, duvet + comforter, a dresser for clothes storage, small desk, and full size closet for ample storage. The bathroom includes: bath towels, hand towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo + conditioner, and a stall shower. The kitchen includes: paper towels, dish soap, dish detergent, sponges, extra lightbulbs, trash bags, tea towels, sandwich bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, a complete set of dishes and cookware, salt + pepper, additional spices, olive oil, basic baking supplies, laundry detergent, and a full suite of cleaning supplies.THE NEIGHBORHOODThe Racquet Club Estates neighborhood is mid-century haven in the northern part of Palm Springs proper. The famed Racquet Club resort was the heart of the the city’s glam from it’s opening in 1934 into the 1970s.Today the neighborhood is easily accessible from the airport and the highway, and is experiencing a boom in development as the town’s energy stretches north. A short (5 minutes) drive from the unit will get you to all the other treasures in town, including the aerial tram, the art museum, the air museum, Tahquitz Canyon, Moorten Botanical Garden, a trove of historical mid-century architecture, and top notch vintage and design shopping.Farther afield but all within a 90-minute drive is Joshua Tree National Park, the Salton Sea, Slab City, The International Banana Museum, Anza Borrego State Park, and much more. My family is from the Valley so I’m always happy to provide suggestions in the area.Parking is easy at the house (unassigned, ample off-street) and you can access all of town within just a few minutes via car. Uber and Lyft are also a great option.
